Many proceedings of international law are especially developed to fight against the exploitation of women for the traffick or the sale of children, dont allow this practice but very few of them are applied today.

NEW DELHI  – Scores of Bangladeshi women have been lured with the promise of a good job in the Middle East and then trafficked to war-torn Syria, where they are forced into domestic or sex work, a senior Bangladeshi police official said.
The head of a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) – an elite squad of the Bangladeshi police – said his unit had come across 45 cases of women who had been exploited, beaten, tortured or raped in Syria in the last year. Continue reading

That was 16 years ago. The ritual cutting away of part or all of the external female genitalia continues in force around the world. A new UNICEF report estimates that at least 200 million women alive today have undergone what’s known as female genital mutilation (FGM).

Muslims have been closed by the police in connection with the fight against the foreign influences.” Police from Tajikistan, country of  Asia who share the border with Afghanistan, announced that they shaved the beards of some 13,000 Tajiks and have closed more than 160 stores selling traditional muslim clothes, announced Al Jazeera.

In Dubai, a Norwegian girl convicted to sixteen months in prison for being raped

A 24 years Norwegian girl was convicted on Wednesday July 17 to sixteen months of prison by a court in Dubai as she had filed a complaint of rape. According to the Court, this judgment punishes indecent behavior, involving sex outside of marriage and alcohol consumption.
